Edinbane Pottery - Introduction

Fish Goblet - SaltglazeStuart Whatley, owner of Edinbane Pottery, grew  up on the remote island of Pabay, off the coast of Skye, inhabited only by his family, farmstock and abundant wildlife. Len at work

It instilled a deep love of nature and the images seen and felt have found their way into his work.

Stuart returned to Skye in 1971 after Art College, and began the  workshop which is now a thriving and highly respected pottery. 

Stuart now works with his wife Julie.
